Plastic Deer Turned Fab

I found this plastic piggie bank deer at a thrift store for .50 cents.
I think the few people around me thought I was crazy when I grasped it off the shelf in a death grip smiling.  I knew exactly what I wanted it for , regardless of their dismay.

When I got home with this wretchid piece, my kids fought over whose piggy bank it would be.
Much to their disappointment, I had to tell them "No one's."

I couldn't wait to spray paint this piece with my new favorite spray paint.
Have you tried this?
It is the perfect gold shade and the coverage is amazing. It also dries incredibly fast!
I haven't had to apply a double coat on anything I have used it on yet.

After a coat of spray paint this lil' fella was ready for his new spot in the girls room.

A perfect trinket, bracelet, and ring holder for my little girls bedroom.
Do you love it as much as I do?

XOXO,
BON

  1. I came across your post with the lovely entryway table for small spaces. You have inspired me indeed! Sometimes we need unexpected blessings to remind us there's even more creativity out there when we're running a bit dry on ideas!
Looking forward to your future posts as well as looking through past ones too!!
    Have a fabulous weekend!!
