About Me

                                 Hi my name is Sharla.
My FAMILY and my HOME    is a haven of rest, a sanctuary of peace,  and most of all a harbor of love.

I am blessed to be a mother to three boys who fill my life with so many positive things and who help define and strengthen me to be who I am.
I feel a sense of gratitude to live in a time, day , and age where we have so many opportunities to express ourselves,be inspired, inspire others, make a difference, build, shape, let our voices be heard and ultimately create who we are.
My current inspirations help to provoke my interests, that are are quilting, crafting, cooking, all things preparedness, sewing, my family, coupon-ing, thrift shopping, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, refurbishing,  and I love, love all things music.
Thanks for taking a moment to get to know a bit of me. :)
A wise man once said great words of inspiration  MAKE IT HAPPEN
and I hope you do just that!

  1. I love your art work ideas! Lately I have been taking old frames and painting chalkboard paint over them to use for our music festival stages. I need a cheaper way to do this, we have framed particle board after painting it with the chalkboard paint and that works great. But I need about 22 of these and what do you think about not framing the particle board but still using it as a chalkboard and somehow suspending it from the stages? If you could help out with some insight. Thanks! events@bristolrhythm.com

  4. I say keep the frames for the particle board just go to your local thrift store or dollar store get cheap frames... You can spray paint them to jazz them up..... I like the idea of suspending them over the stage but I would have to see it to get the full vision .) I just think keeping the frames, makes it look dressier. If the picture hanging are looked at from far away, you can use chalk board paint on cardboard as an alternative. I hope I helped and good luck to you. -sharla
