Guess what? I moved.
I now have a "projects galore list" with a gazillion things that need to be done. I sold most of my things before we moved. Partly so I had less to pack, but mostly so I could start all over again.
So get ready for DRAB to FAB overhauls as I tackle my projects and show you tiny peeks of my home.
I found this goodie on Craiglist for $30.
Not the prettiest piece in the world, but I have been looking for over a month. So for now, this will have to do! It was solid wood {check} and had the right structure I was looking for {double check}.
I knew I wanted to add legs to this piece right away.
So I ran to home depot and bought four legs. {found in the molding section}
Better already huh?
Next ,I took out my good ole' trusty can of spray paint.
I hadn't tried this kind before. I am not to sure that I am in love with it either. I think next time I will just stick to black spray paint w/o the primer.
I can't believe what a simple coat or two of paint can do to a piece of furniture.
Seriously. If you have an old piece that needs a little TLC try a can of spray paint, or any paint for that matter.
I LOVE the results.
It is perfect in my family room.
Now to paint the walls and accessorize the room!
ahhhhh......I am a sucker for before and after pictures.
Until next time
Toodles,
Bon
