Ali see....ALI CREATE!

Ok, so I was wandering around Big Lots and saw THIS GOODIE!
I almost bought it, because really $12 buck is an AWESOME price, but the wheels started turning in my head.  I have been wanting to add a couple different blues to the color scheme in my family room to knock out the barnyard feel I have going on in there. It has felt  a little DRAB  in my depressed state!
So I decided to create my own.
AND I really wanted 8 birds since that is how many is in our family!

Here is what I decided to paint!
Brian and I are the LOVELY Lovey BIRDS and all our 6 kids are a different color.
It's not perfect but I LOVE IT!!!!

What do you think?

EAT....

I have totally wanted to copy the word EAT I have seen on T.V sitcoms and so I whipped one out...
WHAT DO YOU THINK?
I doodled the font I wanted, cut them out, mod pod, and sanded, clear spray painted to set...and VWA-LA! I LOVE them and one of my kids said "Mom we know our goal is to not complain about what you make, but did you really have to make an Eat Sign."

A couple ReFashions

 Applique Skull Onesie...
I LOVE LOVE LOVE wonder under....its SO simple to use and makes my brain create  fun things for those extra special gifts.
I just whipped up this cute skull for K.K's little one.
What do you think?
Just simply make your own pattern and iron on!

And now onto MAKING a shirt that doesn't fit you anymore into your childs shirt.
First inside out the shirt you are shrinking...and lay one of your kids shirts on top of it....
Cut off the extra on the bottom (which you can hem if you want...I don't)

outline with a pen, marker, pencil (whatever) and sew up and out the arm twice...THEN cut off the excess.  Most people would separate the arm and add it again...I am too lazy and this works for me

 Heres another pic...
super simple, and new clothes for the kids.... :O)

Valentines Day Goodies

My hubby and I drove to Vegas and I need to keep my hands busy or I eat THE WHOLE TIME! (and we all know our butt's don't like that!) So I did a bunch of little Loves and XOXO's...I just made it up as I went...hence the unperfectedness.

I cut them out, frayed the edges, added a fun print behind it, and tacked it in the corners onto a 2x6.   The others are just my doodles on wood and then I cute them out....I am LOVING bead board and Mod Pod random V-Day paper to them, sand, and then spray glittering to add that perfect SPARKLE!!!
 Get your CRAFT on.....

Happy 4th (Whippin' out a "Star")

Hello Ladies, I decided I best hurry and make myself a craft for the 4th, it being my favorite HOLIDAY!
I LOVE TO BE AN AMERICAN!!!!

So first I cute out a BIG star out of Bead Board

Then I cute a smaller star out of 1x4

Then I painted the bead board red, and left every other white (obviously I didn't care how perfect it was) Then painted the smaller star light blue

Then I let it dry, painted the smaller star dark blue and sanded them

Then I stained them......glued them together, added a star brad

AND VWAAAA-LAAAA I cute Star to add to my HAPPY 4th Porch

Up Close! These pictures are with my phone I hope they look ok!
