I found these cute lil' resin peeps at the Dollar Store.
I must be obsessed with birds, 'cause I tend to always be taking pictures of them, and finding little birdie trinkets.
I thought that they were so cute the way they are, but wanted them to match to my little girls room.
So I got out this trusty spray paint, and gave them a once over!
Then slightly sanded them to give them a more antiqued feel..
Perfect for the end table.....
And perfect for one to perch on the window box!
Sweet Lil' Peep makeover!
All for TWO DOLLARS!

ReplyDeleteOne of my goals is to give little random gifts to the other writers on my blog... www.feathersfromournest.com I'm going to have to go to my dollar store to see if I can find those little birds. This would be PERFECT! Thanks!!
ReplyDeleteLove those peeps and the makeover is great. When I was at our Dollar Tree, they only had one red cardinal & the tail was broken off...so I asked if they would sell it as is...34 cents later and it was mine! Your blog is great...love all your projects.

I love these. I am partial to the birds. My mother, before she passed away this past fall, would always call us daily and asked us if we saw the birds that she sent to watch over us. I would love to find a treasure like those.
ReplyDeleteLove these! I totally need to look for something similar next time I'm shopping
ReplyDeleteLooks great and ya can't bet the price.
