I found 3 of these topiary at the DI, for a $1.50 all together.
They all had this sponged, outdated paint on the bottom, that didn't look horrid, but needed to be freshened up a bit!
Two coats of Antique White paint later, and VWAHLAH...
Fresh & Fabulous!
To add a more whimsical feel to them, I added these cute little numbered stickers.
If I had to describe my style, it would be Contemporary Trash to Treasure, with a bit of a Whimsical feel. Hahaha. Seriously though, have you ever been to a home where you are constantly worried that your kids are going to touch or break something? It's stifling! There is nothing worse than sitting straight up on a sofa, because you don't feel comfortable in your surroundings. I've made it a conscious decision in life, to have beautiful, yet fun & practical pieces.
It makes me smile, when my decor turns into a conversation piece, and I hope these sweet little, numbered topiary, do just that!
I love this idea and what a steal of a deal. I love how you numbered them, so clever. I will have to try that.
ReplyDeleteThese are so cute! What a cute idea!
ReplyDeleteOh how super cute and thrifty. Love them!
ReplyDeleteGod's blessings, Sarah :D
That is SO cute and I never would think to add the numbers, but they TOTALLY "MAKE" the arrangement. Bravo!
